Hello everyone,
I have noticed that some KCL applicants were offered places in the LLM program in a matter of days; the tracker status changing stages very quickly. I assume these are the outstanding applicants. Unfortunately, I did not happen with my application since I have been waiting for some time now.
My question is : is that necessarily a bad sign or not?
Many thanks!
KCL: is the wait a good sign or a bad one?

You do not need to worry.
Last year (that is the present batch) many of my friends got admitted into KCL only towards the end of April and beginning of May. The last date for reciept of applications being 31st March, they probably wait to finalise the list.
Having applied very early, you stand a very good chance, because all other factors being equal, your early application would show your better focus.
Do not panic, everything will be OK.

Well thanks a lot for your reply!
I've benn on "status 2" for 3 weeks....
My major concern is that my GPA is my weakness. I am relying on my professional experience to get admitted (that is why i applied early). what do you think? is the GPA the only factor in the admission equation?
Thx

GPA is not that big a factor.
If you hinge around the required mark criteria i.e. if your score is not abysmally low, you should be able to get your way. London colleges tend to take a holistic view. I have referred to people getting into LSE with a low scores on another thread.
As long as you have an overall balanced application and a focused personal statement, there is no reason why you should not be in a good position to be admitted.

Hey, FYI, I received an email from KCL today, providing "conditional offer". My status jumped from 1 to 3. It took around 3 weeks since the completion date.

My acknowledgment of receipt took almost 3 weeks. I applied very early and after two weeks got concerned about my application, so I gave them a call and they told me that they had just started their review (after three weeks of receiving application) so they were a little behind. No doubt that the Christmas holiday stopped their work, so I would guess they are processing applications received during the holidays.

Hi everybody,
I was just wondering of there is anybody out there in the same boat as me!! I applied online to KCL in mid December. Till date I have not even received the email notifying me about the online tracker. Its been almost 40 days. Im getting really worried now. I even called them up. But they simply said that they have a back log coz of Christmas vacations.
I was just wondering how much can the back log be that they havent even started the online tracker!! It would really help to know if anybody is in a similar situation!!
Regards.
