Well, if I am not wrong, this page says they close on march 31:

http://www.kcl.ac.uk/schools/law/gradstudy/llm/apply/deadline.html

Could you direct us to the specific KCL webpage and/or a newspaper page?

Thanks!

Regards,

thank you connie. Most likely they were referring to applications for entry to the 2008/2009 programme, and not to the 2009/2010 one that starts this September. I'll take a look at the papers you mention.

Have a nice day.

Hi all,
I have a q about IELTS- did anyone ask for a waiver for IELTS at KCL?
I have CPE grade C, from 1998, and all working experience in English. Do you think I stand a chance to ask them for IELTS waiver?
Thanks

I cant talk about IELTS, but would like share my experience regarding TOEFL waiver, I was also not sure whether they would allow for a TOEFL waiver...so i called them and they told me that as long as my official transcripts mentions that the meduim of instruction was in English, it was fine.....I suggest you call them, present your case succinctly and they am sure they will clarify your doubt

Thanks xdude,
I will write to them, and see what happens. To take IELTS I have to travel 700 km, plus expenses... grrrr

regarding the title of the post, at least in my case was a good sign, I submitted my online application on December 30th but had to send by post all my supporting documents because of some problems I had with the attachments (were received on Jan 19th), but today I received an unconditional offer!! I felt that it had been so long that it was probably because my application was not successful; so you really have to be patient as some posters say.

I submitted my application only on March 10, so I am expecting to receive some feedback in May... I just hope that are still some seats left...

I submitted my application on 3rd March.....don't worry you will hear from them within a month exactly..!
and now that they have all the applications in their Hand they will make a final decision and send it to you...!
You should most probably receive a reply by 20th April..!!
I am expecting to receive a reply by the 12th-15th April. (i.e. two weeks after they have issued my tracking number)
