Congrats! As far as I understand it, you have to be a strong candidate! KCL says that they decide on a rolling basis, but have to take into account all the applicants of the pool at that time. Therefore, if your application was completed only this month, I guess the came to the conclusion that you are too good to wait any longer...
KCL Application process (Let's keep track together)

I got it a few minutes ago, too - a conditional offer, applied on November 17

I got a mail which says that the seats are full therefore it is not possible to process your application.
I have finished all the applications including the documents by Dec 18...I don't think that was wayyyy too late.
Doesnt Kings have any waiting list options....because it is certain that people will either decline or refuse to accept the offer once the US law schools and Oxford start doling out offers to candidates

I'd ring the law school if I were you. I think there must've happened something with the system. I find it hard to believe that no more offers are going to be sent out... especially because neither Cambridge nor Oxford have made all the offers yet...

thats exactly my point beicon...i didnt find it digestable too. its tedious being an overseas to call nonetheless i will make it a point to call up tomorrow. can you just pass me the no.

If someone posts the number I'm happy to call and find out what's going on from here in London (just because I am a nice busybody (person!))

These are the number and address I found on the website of the law school:

Tel: +44 (0) 20 7848 2097
Fax: +44 (0)20 7848 7200

London WC2R 2LS
I'd ring them up to understand what's going on...

Hi everybody!
I'm glad that I found this board - seems to be nice here.
Are there any news regarding the notice that the KCL LLM is already full?
I sent my application at 20/01/10 - hopefully there was only something wrong with the application system.

sorry - forgot that I'd volunteered to call them! Just tried but they're shut for lunch at the moment and reopen at 2pm. If no-one gets in touch with them before about 3.30 I'll try and call them then (I think they shut at 4)
Posted Feb 01, 2010 14:21
Many thanks for being so kind!
Posted Feb 01, 2010 15:59
hmm, this could be difficult - the call is going to voicemail and reporting that the person's mailbox is full. Will have a few more attempts.....
Posted Feb 01, 2010 16:10
Right - the person on the other end didn't want to go into too much detail about the decisionmaking process, but did confirm that they are still processing LLM applications (i.e. there doesn't seem to be a blanket decision to turn away any new applications as far as I can tell.). I wasn't able to get a steer as to whether applications might fill up on a course by course basis.

thnx legal alien....i did try to call them up but as u already iterated above, they were shut for lunch...
If you what you say is true then why did they write in my message box that due to massive applications they are not able to process my application and i did it way back on 18th dec.

Thanks a lot for your tenacity, legalalien!

That's good news, anyway.
Good luck to all of you!
I keep you updated :)

No idea, I'm afraid - you may need to call them about your specific case. Is it possible they were talking about a delay in processing?
Posted Feb 01, 2010 17:35
may be.....in that case they would have simply said received and processed...lets see...will get in touch with them

Just so you all know, KCL seems to be having some IT problems. I've been offered a place on the LLM and I accepted the offer back in December. But somehow their system doesn't show that I'm an unconditional-firm student and therefore I can't apply for accommodation. I've rung them up to discuss this issue but they said it's an IT problem that they're trying to fix. Maybe the problem has spread to course application... who knows?

Hey,
I've received a conditional offer today (have to sit the IELTS).
For information (and because it helped me a lot to read this thread while expecting an answer):
French student at Paris II, for five years.
Bar exam passed this december.
NO professional experience.
Association work.
I applied first week of December, and last reference was uploaded on December 17th --> Reet, don't believe them ! the LLM cannot be full + last year friends of mine received offers in march or april.
I hope some of you wiil be relieved by this info.
Good evening to you all (at least it's the evening here !)
