Hi there,
to say about your score, its good. what you have mentioned about the universities are among the best but except those there are others also which you can look forward, like kent, leeds, nottingham, oxford brookes and manchester. Kindly go through the modules what they offer.
Are you looking forward for 2011 sept intake??
Even Iam looking forward for masters in commercial law but not clear about the future prospects, can you kindly help me with that??

Hi, thanks for the reply. I guess my score is OK I just barely scrapped a 2.1, but its a 2.1 nonetheless. I would like to attend a reputable college that will give me the added extra when job hunting. I am from Ireland and the current climate in the legal profession here is tough and extremely competitive. I have left my options open as to relocation and I intend on sitting the New York Bar exam in february to bulk up my cv. I will give myself one year to pass so should be ok. Yes, I plan on taking an LLM in the September 2011 intake. I have sent emails to Edinburgh and Uni of Westminster and they both said I would get in if I applied. What about you, whats your plans going forward? If any one else has an insight into what I intend to do, feel free to air your views.

Hi Sharath
I guess there are a number of things that one could do with an LLM in Commercial Law. It will give us an extra knowledge of the specific areas which we choose to study on an LLM, therby giving scope for specialisation in a certain area when entering practice. It will also add to bulk up our legal resume. Can be influential for applying for position in industry aswell as professional practice.
If you intend on going down the academic route it is a must for further learning and research and for entry on to doctorate programmes. Hope that can add a bit of insight into your query.
