Durham or Edinburgh?

Hi everyone. I have received the offer from Edinburgh and Durham. LLm in Innovation, technology and the law in Edinburgh and the international trade and commercial law in Durham.
Someone says that Durham university is more famous than Edinburgh university but it is not well-known in my country.
Moreover, Durham university ranks higher than Edinburgh university in UK in TImes but much lower in the world...
Thus, I'm confused...

I'm more interested in their teaching and learning not the cities themselves...
Could anyone help me?
Thanks a lot!

Having worked as a legal education consultant before returning to do my PhD at Edinburgh (where I also did an LLM) I can tell you that more important than rankings (as they vary from journal to journal) are the faculty and resources available at the institution you choose. If you are truly interested in intellectual property and technology law then you cannot beat Edinburgh. Key faculty such as Waelde, Laurie and MacQueen are top in their field and extremely supportive of students. The availability of the AHRC Research Centre for Studies in Intellectual Property and Technology Law http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/ahrc/ is unique to Edinburgh and provides a wealth of information and opportunity for students. There is also an excellent online journal specific to the topics covered by this particular LLM which can be found at http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/ahrc/script-ed/ .
I have no knowledge of the Durham programme but know that the Edinburgh programme is first rate!
