I know of only one offer and some rejections from early-mid last week. No idea how many have gone through already. Someone updated on thestudentroom yesterday that the PhD administrator had informed that the rest should get news within "the next couple of weeks".

Btw, if they recommend you to GAO, the law fac tends to email you about it to notify you that they have recommended you for admission. But since a lot is happening these weeks, they might not always have time, and your status on the portal might also have moved to GAO several days before they send you that email.

I am still under departmental review (interviewed in January).  I imagine we will hear back in the next week or two.

Any update on the MLitt? Little hope here, but wonder whether there is any development.

the faculty seems to be releasing decisions for the llm/mcl programmes today. Hopefully they will get back to analysing phd/mlitt applications after that.

So they've rejected people recently too? I think I only heard of some rejections around 16/17 Feb or so. I'm sure still being in the race is good.

I heard a friend of a friend that was rejected last week too.  I agree that if you remain under department review at this stage then that is a good sign.

Edit: Now moved to PAO :).

Anybody still under review? Do they have a last date by which they would let everyone know?

I have the same problem here. My MLitt is still under review, which is quite odd. It seems by the end of March, they should have concluded the decision-making.

Their webpages claim that those who have not received an offer within 12 weeks have likely been placed on a reserve list, advising applicants to contact the department to check their status: https://www.postgraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/application-process/what-happens-next
