Cambridge LLM 2017 - 2018 Applicants

Would it be possible for someone with a UK number to call them? I really want to know what their excuse is now. The 'thousands of applications' that had to be reviewed must have diminished over the past month. But there doesn't seem to be any remarkable increase in their response time. Patience is running really thin now.

I have been calling Miss Wade since the past one hour but it has been going straight to voicemail. Don't know what to do now!

Thanks ik0214. I really didn't think this would spill over to April.

Moved from BOGs to 'Application awaiting approval by BGS' after four days of BOGs stage. Also got an email asking for my degree certificate, which I'm sure I had uploaded at some stage in the past.

For those still in UCDC, you have more sympathies than I thought I had the capability to give.

What's the difference between awaiting decision and awaiting approval?
For those of you still dc: i'm so sorry you've been put through this and I really hope today is the day dcland will no longer exist.

Still #ForeverDC.

Starting to really hate this university if I have to endure yet another #DCweekend stretching into April.

I actually find this needless delay quite unforgiveable at this stage.

According to the Graduate Admissions Office the awaiting approval stage means that they've had to contact the law school for some additional information which they didn't send on. The same thing happened for me and I got my conditional offer on Wednesday :) Hope that helps!

Not a squeak from them thus far. Must be having a day off, relaxing by the beach with a martini under the shade of a palm tree........Honestly wouldn't surprise me if they were.

In all seriousness, they told us March 15 then changed it at the eleventh hour to "by end of March". If we don't hear back from them in the next two hours then I think they must be having a laugh.

It's looks as if they aren't processing any applications today.

I've already been the stage of awaiting approval by BGS for several days. Do I need to do something at this stage or just wait? I'm a bit anxious to be rejected at this process.

From my previous experience wait it out, you will get a conditional offer. I had a similar loong wait time and when I asked around it was because I had not submitted my language test scores and one of my referee used a personal email to give the reference and not the institutional email. If there's something unusual (i.e. out of ordinary thing like my case above) they have to contact law school and confirm everything first before preparing your conditional offer to reflect the clarification they had sought. Hold on and stay strong.
For guys still in UCDC I feel for you. This has been a nerve-wracking experience at best and something else at worst. Poleni Sana

For me the GAO said just to wait it out as it wasn't something I had done wrong so much as a miscommunication with the law school, if you're in the UK/Ireland or can afford an international call it might be no harm to ring them on Monday if only to set your mind at ease but everyone who I know who was at that status got a conditional offer, they just had to wait a little longer.

Hello! I received my conditional offer by email, around five hours after the status changed from "Awaiting Approval by BOGS" to "Conditional Offer Made" on the portal. For those of you waiting still, I wish you great luck ahead. I am really grateful for everyone's support on this page. I would not have been able to keep my sanity, had it not been for you guys.
