still dc.
months ago I thought no news is good news... but now I got very pessimistic..

Omg I feel the same... I honestly think that the fact that we didn't get status updates means we have been rejected. :(

still in #TeamDC

For those that moved to BOGS, able to share which countries you are from? There was a theory in previous years that the offers are many by countries/jurisdictions. All one big mysterious exercise eh!

Well, fellow posters, the DC meeting is today. Is anyone ballsy enough to call to find out what time our fate will be determined?

I wouldn't bother. They're not exactly going to rush to their computers afterwards to notify us.

The process may take a number of days afterwards.

Perhaps I am clutching at straws here and this is wishful thinking on my part, but, I noticed on the 2016 and 2015 threads that people were still getting rejected up until March 12th. After that date, I noticed that quite a few noted they had been accepted. So, if we were to go by that theory, then after March 12th, no news is good news. I know, wishful thinking. Just trying to stay optimistic!

I've just logged in CamSis and got my response "Application unsuccessful", so they are still updating our information (because until yesterday I was still at DC). I am relieved that the wait is finally over, and now I can focus on arranging everything for London, as I am going there!

Good luck to all of you who are still waiting for a response!

while waiting, i wanna share a book i recently read with you guys~
its name is Letters To A Law Student by McBride Varuhas (a Cambridge professor? )
Even though it's intended to give some tips for the law freshmen, it's as for me still of much value in this stage~ hope us good luck for the following days

PinkUY, I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds like you have a backup school which is great. May I ask, did they also send a follow up email or did they only rely on CAMSIS to notify you?

I'm truly sorry to hear that! Best of luck for London, I'm sure you will thrive there :)

Also, anyone still #ForeverDC here?

Yes I am..

Dying to hear news, even if it is a rejection! I have the admissions tutors number dialled but can't call her, I did that before early in the process and she was pretty cold. I get they are busy but the wait is consuming. On the bright side, it will be 5pm soon and I can have a few hours respite -_-

Still DC here as well. Has the admission process ever been this delayed? Or is this a first in many years? Or is it just that not many people share about their progress in this forum? This wait is nerve wracking.

Pjoedi, Congrats on getting BoGS'ed. Can you advise whether you received a follow up email in addition to the CAMSIS update or were you solely notified via CAMSIS?

Will delay in making an offer by the department also delay the Gates Cambridge too or does it mean that it's over for the Gates Cambridge applicants who are yet #UCDC??

Very sorry to hear this! You'll do great in London, I'm sure.

If I don't receive an offer (which will be the case, more likely than not) I'll be joining you in London this year, in my case for the accelerated LPC at BPP. I haven't got accommodation arranged yet but I'm looking into student halls around the Holborn area and private accommodation. I have a training contract with a City firm and they are paying my fees (thankfully!).

I just want this blinkin' application result from Cambridge to come through so that I can crack on with my future living arrangements, like you.

I'm jealous, actually, that you are liberated from limbo now! ;)
