People that have had a status change (for better or for worse) - did you find out my checking Camsis or did you get an email as well?? Thanks!

I reckon what is the order for going through applications... I guess the most logical way (if there is any Logic at all) would be by candidates' names alphabetical order.

I highly doubt that. My family name begins with an 'A', and I'm still at DC.

It was a nice theory for the few minutes that it lasted. What can we replace it with? Country-of-origin? Or something more random and less purposefully organised?

Well, maybe its your first name and not your family's

Well, maybe its your first name and not your family's

If its by first name, then I'll likely be waiting until next Christmas. Mine is near the end of the alphabet.

I found out by checking camsis. I have not received an e-mail from them regarding the change in status. My first name starts with R and my lastname with G. I therefore don't think they process the applications in alphabetical order. Not sure in which order they do...

They might be giving decisions on the basis who first applied?

It seems apparent, then, that the process is not conducted based upon alphabetical order. The mystery deepens, the plot thickens....

It seems quite likely to me that they don't have any alphabetical, chronological or geographical order, but that they proceed in the way that where a decision is clear the applicant will hear sooner. (Just as though they had a pile of rejections, a pile of offers and a pile for further consideration, the latter of which becomes smaller and smaller. This is how I imagine it, but of course it's just another theory.)

I think that it is a very conscientious process and that they really compare the different applications to reach the fairest possible decisions - which would make it much easier to be rejected.

I'm sorry to hear about the rejection Entangled...I felt that one for some reason. I do hope that you can aspire to greatness despite the situation.

I guess the rest of us will continue to keep our seat belts fastened for this mental roller coasters ride.

I found out about the rejection via Camsis but an hour later I got an email telling me what Camsis already told me. My guess is that they're only going to email you once they've reached a final decision regarding your application; so until then, Camsis is your best bet!

As always, sending happy happy happy thoughts to all of you! Obviously I hope you all get good news but if the reply isn't positive, I'm still going keep my fingers and toes crossed for your other applications :D

months ago I thought no news is good news... but now I got very pessimistic..

Congratulations to everyone who got through to the next stage! Hoping you make it till the end! And for the others, honestly hoping that your eggs in other baskets hatch soon. Not very hopeful here either, but for the rest of us in the DC Club, lets just hope we get a decision soon!
