I know, but honestly we should tame our expectations. It would only make the fall hurt even more to be honest. But yes, I hear ya that it seems we've gone a long way to only be rejected now.

Yep I tried. I was met with an automated message saying that due to high demand/covid they are unable to take any calls and if you are waiting for a decision you should check your Applicant Portal often.

Seems like after releasing 4 an a half answers on Friday, Cambridge takes a well-deserved two-week break

Does anyone know whether it is possible to ask Cambridge to expedite their decision if you have an offer from another institution with an impending response deadline?

Yes I believe so as there seems to have been some success with that in previous years. But the difficulty may be to get a hold of them considering the automated messages above.

I believe you can send the PAO a message through the web form on their website! They aren’t taking phone calls though.
