Also still waiting for a change - profile is still on 'awaiting consideration by department'. Would very much appreciate knowing now!

I think its safe to say that all offers have now been made. All the best and congratulations to those who have received offers. Does Cambridge come out with a wait list.

Hi! Got conditional offer, requiring passport and transcripts. Changed yesterday afternoon, got BoGs on Tuesday. Best of luck to all!

Anyone whose application is still stuck with the BOGS?
Posted Mar 15, 2014 19:07
Yes! Still stuck with the Bogs!
Posted Mar 15, 2014 19:18
Yes. It's so annoying, you don't even know if it's an acceptance or rejection.
Posted Mar 15, 2014 20:05
Getting an offer once BoGS'ed took me 6 days. That exact period of time seems to be pretty common, at least judging by the other responses on this forum.

There's a facebook group "Cambridge LL.M. Class of 2014/15" for all those of you have offers! See you there!

The status of my application is still "awaiting consideration by department". I guess all offers were made today and I didn't get in. But shouldn't the status of my application have changed to "application denied" or something like that? Anyone with the same experience or someone who knows why my status didn't change?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

From memory, last year rejections did not follow immediately after offers had been made and status changes were not immediate.

@ Mark W: Could you please confirm that you havn't been made an offer?

I still am getting 'awaiting consideration by department" for both llm and mcl. I am from asia. when do I expect the rejection or waitlist message? I know somebody who got admitted in may last year. does it mean that I still have a sliver of hope? or should I start applying for other schools already? any recommendations?

Good luck for your other applications.

Mark W went to Cambridge to do an undergraduate degree in maths. Now this is damn hard! He's got nothing to envy from you, or anybody else.
p.s. As i said I am a VERY boring person these days so Mark don't take this personally :p

Thanks mate.
I doubt there is any correlation at all between the two (you have a small sample, and 2012 thread opener got in), but even if there is there is certainly no causation!
Good luck for your upcoming exams :)

Ha, that's true, nice investigation Anna! On the other hand I was quite a lazy Maths student, and didn't enjoy the course. Hence the later switch to law. Perhaps my old Maths DoS told the Law department bad things about me :)

Hey Eppendorf,
How did you feel when you got rejected from Oxford?
Was it upsetting, did it take you a while to get over it?
