Yep - Congrats! Technically in Cambridge the faculty can only recommend to the Board of Graduate Studies that you be offered a place, but 99.9% of the time the BOGS will just accept the faculty's recommendations, so if it's reached the BOGS stage then you are almost definitely in.

I wonder how many phone calls Ms. Wade has answered so far!
P.S.: My status is also "awainting consideration..."
How many of us are still having "awaiting consideration"?

Same here - somehow my first class Cambridge degree did not suffice when endless 2.1s have. :/
I don't really care seeing as I got into Oxford (BCL) this year but I really don't know what they've done re admission this year.
To anyone who thinks they have been treated unfairly and care, I recommend you ask the faculty for an explanation - something very dodgy has gone on this year.
I have not come across even one person with a 2.1 average who was admitted this year. One of my friends had something like a 69.4% average and was rejected. Just because you are disappointed doesn't indicate that something 'dodgy' has been going on.... but I can understand that you might feel a little crestfallen.

How many of us are still having "awaiting consideration"?
I think I counted 4 including me. I may have missed one or two...
Had quite a scare this morning. I logged in and at first it said "You have no active applications." I had to log out, restart my browser, and log back in. Still says "Awaiting Consideration..." though.

Well, I also had that problem, there is nothing to worry.

"Awaiting consideration by department" is my status.
Even though, it is highly possible that some people have not participated this thread.

Quite probable, I'm sure. Given the caliber of the institution and the gravity of the undertaking though, I would say a fair number are keeping track through the forum.

Where are you from guys, are we all overseas applicants or are there any UK applicants waiting as well? Might this delay be connected with 3rd party conversion/evaluation of our transcripts?

I'm from the U.S. I would have thought they would have converted the grades a while ago - I submitted in early November. It's been about 5 months.
Didn't I read earlier that they have a new program?? a Master in Business or Corporate Law or something? I thought I remembered reading that they got most of those apps resolved in December and January? Maybe that just put the admissions committee behind.
Or maybe the caliber of this year's application pool is quite good with little deviation.
Or perhaps our apps just got misplaced, haha.

I'm an overseas applicant as well but i don't think it's the reason why they haven't made a decision on our applications yet. If i remember correctly, somewhere in this thread, a couple of non-uk applicants have received offers already. Maybe we belong to that pool of applicants whose applications are not as strong as those of the other offer holders but are good enough to be reconsidered? :)
Whatever the case, I just wish they'd make a decision soon! The wait is driving me gaga. But can I just say that this forum has been a great source of info and comfort throughout the 5 long months of waiting :) Just a few more days to go! Nothing to do but hope for the best :)

No. I'm not a big fan of facebook. I wonder what kind of accommodation we will be offered.

I'm pleased about Magdalene too, it was my first choice.
