The best LLM program for Technology Law

Hey guys,
I’m deeply interested in technology law and not sure which LLM program is considered the best in this field. I was thinking about Berkeley, NYU, UPenn and Georgetown. I’d love to hear your insights about these schools. I’m also open to other suggestions.
Thank you in advance!

Hey!
Great that you are interested in Technology law. While Berkely, NYU, UPenn and Georgetown are all good schools they are also incredibly pricey. In the Netherlands I am currently pursuing an LLM in Governance and Law in Digital Society at the University of Groningen. The University of Groningen has consistently been ranked as being within the top 100 universities globally across various rankings and tuition is considerably lower than the United States. The programme takes a policy and law approach towards technology. It considers the policy aspects of technology and its use, especially in the public sector and addresses the regulation of technologies as well. Furthermore there are also a ton of guest lecturers from experts in the field and has an internship as part of the programme. I would highly recommend it, you can find more about it here: https://www.rug.nl/masters/governance-and-law-in-digital-society/?lang=en

Hi, the best would of course be Stanford’s Law & Tech LL.M considering the school’s top rank itself and the proximity to Silicon Valley. But Cornell is also a good school and it now has a special Law & Tech LL.M program in its NYC campus (other law programs are in Ithaca). I heard Cornell’s program is quite excellent with real world entrepreneurship clinics.
