Hi all! I am hoping to apply for the LLM in Global Criminal Law in the University of Groningen and I was wondering what are the job prospects after that across Europe. I am from Guatemala and obtained my Law Degree there but I also have a German passport. Taking into consideration the above, is there a good possibility of finding a job in Public Institutions, NGOs or similar?
Thank you very much in advance!

Talent demand for this kind of organization is fairly low, all things considered. Would an LLM add value to your profile, for the kinds of jobs you would be interested in? Maybe take some time looking at the kinds of positions that these organizations hire for, and see if LLMs are required, or even preferred.
My sense is that the biggest hurdle for these jobs wouldn't be whether you have an LLM or not, but visa issues and what languages you speak. Since you have a German passport, that would help with landing a job in Europe.
