Criminal Law LLM in the EU

pinkmoon

Hi,

I'm going to be applying for an LLM in Criminal Law at Groningen but would like to find out a bit more about the job prospects (for a non-EU national) in this field. If anyone has any information or links, I'd be very grateful. I'm a lawyer from South America planning to relocate. If the field is a bit slow, then I might have to look for something else.

Thanks.

Groningen’s LLM in Criminal Law is well-regarded, but as a non-EU national, finding a job post-graduation could be hard due to your status and to low demand within the field. If you'll be pursuing this no matter what, I'd suggest you consider looking into specific visa programs and networking with local firms or NGOs during your studies to improve your chances.
