Hi everyone!
I have been conditionally admitted to the LLM International Law and Law of International Organizations at the University of Groningen. Who else is going there this fall?
Im from Romania and I havent found any scholarship so I guess Im on my own. Can anyone give any advice on other ways of funding? I heard that there are no jobs for students in Groningen. However I found some info about the Huygens Programme. Does anyone know how that works?
Thank you in advance!
Teo

Hi Teo,
The deadline for Huygens was 31 January: http://www.nuffic.nl/international-students/scholarships/worldwide/hsp-huygens-programme
I haven't been able to find anything you can apply for at the moment, but scholarships vary by nationality, so you can check out: http://www.grantfinder.nl/content/index.asp
Because you are EU - After you arrive, register and receive your "sofinumber" (this is some sort of tax and citizenship number), if you get a part time or casual job of any sort, you can claim a bit of funding, free transport and/or refund of your tuition fees through the Education Department: http://www.ib-groep.nl/International_visitors/Welcome.asp But, whether you work or not affects the type of health and liability insurance you need so if you work you might have to pay more for insurance - I thought we were using our national health insurance so I haven't figured this out...
