Well I wish I could but the housing people sort of told me that I should feel lucky to get the last room available in Leiden (I guess that's what they say to everyone...).
Anyway, it seems that Hooigracht has a nice roof for (unauthorized) parties so it finally might be fun !

I looked it up quickly - looks very nice. The only picture I found was an "artists representation" though on the rental office website.

You're getting in the 29th too? So am I! I'm even transiting via Zurich on SWISS. Should be in AMS at around 09h00

nooo not gone yet. in Malaysia for 2 weeks. will check my email and this board during that time so no talking about me behind my back hahaha .... oh more saddies. played my last soccer match today and said goodbye to my team-mates .... *sniff* felt much more sentimental about leaving them than about leaving my job (which I had been at for longer). ah u gotta love soccer.

Cute. Just remember one thing - no such thing as soccer in Europe. "Football".

yeah i know - dont worry!! :) but if you look at the Leiden uni sports website it mentions soccer not football- interesting.

Google Maps says Hugo de Grootstraat 32 and Hooigracht 15 are only 1.2km apart. Not far at all!

Sent the wire for the housing payment today. Cost 42,00$ in fees on top of the amount. 7,00$ to convert from dollars to euro! Have a confirmation sheet that's stamped by the bank, and they also said to call on Monday and see if they got it. So that's that!
