I actually asked this exact question to the programme coordinator. She couldnt answer, though, because it is still early in the admissions cycle. BUT, I did get some other info. She tells me the split in teaching between The Hague and Leiden is about 50 / 50. International Dispute Settlement and International Criminal Law, as well as Practicum and Privatissimum were taught at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies in The Hague this year. It could change slightly for '07.
Lectures are given to the whole LL.M. group, whereas seminars are given in smaller groups that max out at about 35. From this, I think we can conclude that the whole LL.M. class is in the range of 60 or 70 students.

60-70 students is small .... hopefully a good mix of students from lots of coutries ...

I think it will be an interesting mix. Particularly since EU students pay a "home fee", so Europeans, anyway, should be plentiful. As well as a smattering of others from abroad!
Particularly, it would seem, Australia and Canada!

I am actually a dual citizen (Canada/ Italy (EU)) so I get the home fee. The Leiden Scholarship programme seems pretty generous -- just write them a note outlining your need, resources, etc... and they see what they can do. Of course, I have no experience on how this actually works out!
Might want to consider getting hitched to a European...

Serious?! I am too! I'm dual Australian/Greek (EU) - how lucky are we?!? :o)
I guess I want a scholarship to help out with the other expenses .. but I think I'll survive .... will be trying to save up between now and then!

I know eh! Citizens of the world!
We'll make sure to go to a "coffee shop" together and revel in our Europeanness!
