Helli,
I am currently studying LLB with University of London (International Programs). I have more than decent grades in first two years.
My main concern is do universities like Leiden, College of Europe, Maastricht and other good ones accept students from UoL IP as it is not really a regular degree but the people who know about this degree will agree that it is as difficult as any regular LLB, as the syllabus is the same.
I am interested in Europe colleges but only if they will accept the application from an international program candidate.
I know some graduates who went on to do their LLM from reputed universities but most of them stuck with UK universities.
Please help, as this is really important for me.
Thanks.

Hi!
I am a UOL IP graduate. I got accepted at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Although I had to face a lot of rejection from universities in England but that could be my application, not my degree (hopefully).

Thanks Mahreen,
So did you finally go to Tilburg? Pursuing LLM from European university is a better option or UK, since our degree is from London University. Although I am a bit skeptical about applying in UK given what you wrote but like you said, it can be because of any reason.

You're welcome!
Well I deferred my admission to sep 2015 because I just cannot finance the entire degree myself! Also I just got into Maastricht February 2015 program and again there's no funding so I don't know what to do lol
Yea I wanna pursue a masters from an EU country as well! Hoping for a miracle :)

Congratulations! Maastricht is one of my choices as well but no funding? Seriously! Mostly for post-grad degrees there is some aid available for students. At least in US I know that is the case but funding the entire degree by yourself can be a daunting task.
I am counting on some financial help myself, when the time comes.

There's one scholarship available from the university for international students but only 5 scholarships are awarded and are valid only for sep intake. So this wasn't applicable to me. I looked for grants as well in the Netherlands but only NFP applies to me and I don't think my employer will be willing to nominate me! My country isn't very student loan friendly either! I still have to talk to my parents and convince them somehow. Right now I have kept this a secret from everyone lol

Hah! So much for keeping a secret. I really hope that you will sort this out and will be on your way to Maastricht by next year. Student loan is not a problem at all where I come from but I don't want to get my hands into it. This is my third degree (after high school) and so far I have steered clear of loans. I don't want to get in that pit now for my masters in Law.
Thanks for your help, at least now I know if I work hard enough I have a chance with good college, although I have to figure out the funding route.
If you don't mind me asking what was your final grade in LLB?

Thank you so much for all the help. I hope I will get good grades buy you know how tough is that. All the best to you as well for Maastricht.
I am focusing only on Dutch Universities right now but let's see, I still have time to make up my mind. Thanks once again for all the info :)
