Hi guys. I am worried about the COVID19, if things gettind worse in the future, if you get the offer, any of you want to defer? there are too many uncertainty thing. situation in Switherland seems not good.

I'm also very worried. And even if things get better in a few months, what do I do with racism? I'm a Southeast Asian woman.

On top of that, I'm not sure if it would be easy to leave my family during these trying times.

For those wondering whether COVID-19 would have (so far) an impact in the admission process (timelines); I email the Academy and this is what they said:

”No it will not have any impact to the admission process. We are working.”

IMPLICATIONS FOR UPCOMING STUDENTS: 2020–2021 ACADEMIC YEAR
We continue to prepare for the 2020-2021 academic year as planned and look forward to welcome new students enrolled in our three programmes.

However, if the situation does not evolve positively until September 2020 (i.e. in the very unlikely event that we cannot teach face to face in September), we will reimburse all accepted students in case the programmes cannot start due to COVID-19.

thansk for your information. But now I am still waiting for my offer. Maybe have to wait until April got the result, it seems that GA still focus on sending scholarship-track now, considering the worse situation, no one knows when will the whole process end.

It appears that deferring is not a possibility at all. This is as per the Information Office.

Hello everyone. It's been too silent on this chat board. Just writing to say that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you (especially those who have been affected in one way or another by the pandemic) during this time. It is my hope that we are all alright and keeping safe ...even as we keep waiting for offers from the ever-quiet Geneva Academy. :-)

@rb83, I believe we still have a chance for the full scholarship track. April might be full of offers (according to the Academy's own timeline on their website). I don't think they are done. Fingers crossed.
