Hi guys,
Thought I'd set up a page where applicants to the European Masters in Law and Economics (EMLE) can discuss the masters programme, share their educational/work background, whether they've applied for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship, as well as the universities they've selected!
I'm a student from Ireland.
I have a 5yr undergraduate degree in Law (including one international year in California).
I'm currently on a MSc Economics programme in Dublin.
I've applied for the EM scholarship and selected Hamburg, Bologna and Haifa as my three universities if I'm lucky enough to be accepted!

Greetings all!
I have also applied for the EMLE, I picked Bologna, Ghent and AIP. I have been so enthusiastic about this programme for so long, I hope we all get a place!
Am I correct in thinking we must wait until March to find out about our having been accepted?
Best wishes

Hi, Lord! Every day I hope I can get the news, but I guess it can only be my hope. Maybe we have to wait until March, no one knows. But time flies, isn't it?

Hi All
I also applied, and selected Bologna, Hamburg and Warsaw.
I'm from South Africa and have applied for a EM scholarship.
Anyone else from SA, or sub-Saharan Africa?
Also, does anyone know how many scholarships are available to "third-country students"? and/or any idea of how many people apply?
Wishing you all luck, and anxiously awaiting the end of march :)
Margaret

hi all,
I have also applied for EMLE 12-13, still I am not very sure what might be the job perspectives for a lawyer graduating EMLE.
Hope to see you.

any news from fellow applicants?

Hi all,
first of all, congratulation for those who have been selected for EMLE 2012/13. Hope you all will have a magnificent time.
Btw, I am interested to apply for 2013/14 round. I sent an email to the EMLE programme for asking whether or not EMLE scholarship covers everything (full scholarship) for the 3rd world-country students. The response saying that the scholarship doesn't cover everything. Although I just sent another email to ask for a detailed of the items/cost which should be paid by the applicant, perhaps it might take a few days to get reply.
It would be great, if someone can elaborate more on this, or probably some former EMLE students who might want to share their experiences. I would appreciate it very much.
I found from the EMLE web page per-selected student will be awarded 24,000 each year, yet I am concerned if those money would not enough to live decently during our EMLE term. Would that be perfect if anyone could speak it more in details. How should/do we spend the money? Which cities/countries are the most cheaper/expensive ones according to your experience? Is such amount of money enough to live in 2/3 different countries/cities during EMLE? I guess the airfare will be incurred by the applicant/student, is that true?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Does anyone get decision from EMLE? Because I have to do decisions for other applications, is it possible to know the result of admission and scholarship earlier than late March? Thanks.
