Of course this is possible, most people do it like that I suppose. But 2012/2013 that's still long time to go :-)

Hello,
Has anybody received information about what day will be the start of the academic year in September ?
Hi! I'm still waiting for the official documents from the College, so no news about the start of the courses (I got into the LLM, for the record). But if you check the website, you can see that last year the academic activities started at mid-september: making a guess for 2011, I'd say on Monday 12th...

Hi Anna Viola!Still no answer, but I talked with other 3 italians admitted and none of us has received any letter,so I'd say it's safe to wait ;) I'm in the EPA master,so I guess we won't see each other,I guess you are in Natolin,right?Actually....do you know if the students of Bruges and Natolin ever meet?It would be great to be able to meet all together!
Yes, I'm in Natolin! I think that we are probably going to meet during a trip to Bruges, Bruxelles (ect...) that is organized for us! I read it on the website! Where are you from in Italy?
Cagliari,Sardinia ;)
That's awesome if we'll meet in Brussels or Bruges :) I think pictavienne is right, last year the opening of the residence and the welcome day was on September 13th. So I think that Monday 12 for this year can be a correct guess!
I would like to ask.....do you know if even without being in the Diplomatic track we can have the opportunity to study and extra european language in Bruges?I know you can do it in Natolin, but I couldn't find any information about it on the website!

I'm from Rome, instead!
Well, actually I don't know if it's possible to study an extra language in Bruges! I'm sure that it's mandatory in Natolin!

According to the brochure 2011/2012, in Bruges campus are offered courses in German and Dutch, whereas in Natolin German, Russian and Polish. I would like to keep on studying German, which I started this year, but I guess it will be hard, considering the "regular" workload...

Hello everyone,
I was admitted from the British side.
I was wondering whether anyone knew how many applicants in general and how many UK applicants were admitted for Bruges?
I wish you all best luck for people who still have interviews or are on the waiting list. Happy to help with my interview questions.

Hello,
Normally some 300 students are admitted to the campus in Bruges. I don't know the numbers for British students, but they told me there are about 20 Belgian students every year (counting both campuses).

Hey Bea1986, I'm from the UK and have been accepted to Natolin this year too! I haven't got anything by post yet (just email) but from what I've understood so far, nobody has so don't worry. I emailed the CoE a while back and they sent me all the introductory information which you can access on the following link : http://www.coleurop.be/content/admission/2011_admission/nat-en.asp
If you have to do the introductory course the start date is two weeks earlier but the dates either way are all there in that link so you can book your flight now hopefully! Hope that helped...

Hey glykouli!!!
Thank you sooooooo much for the info!!!!!!!I can't understand why the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs told me the MA started in mid-September!!!Luckily, I did not buy any plane tickets!!!!hahahahaha!!!!
How do you know if you have to do the introductory courses??I studied Translation so I guess I might have to...Btw, did you already pick the optional courses for the first semester??
I'll write to Natolin this week and see if I get things sorted out...can you please tell me the e-mail address you wrote to???Is there anything else you want to know about the MA (since I'm sending them an e-mail, I can also add any questions you might have).

No problem! I did my degree in languages too so I guess that's why the UK selection committee decided I should do the introductory course...maybe it's the same for you but I'm surprised they didn't mention it yet...they told me when I got the email confirming I'd been offered the place. You should ask them anyway seeing as you're emailing. So far its always been the Bruges Campus that I've been communicating with because it seems they're coordinating everything from there so you should probably email them...the email address is right on the CoE website. Apart from that I haven't registered for any specific modules or classes yet....have you? If not and you find out any more info about registering for classes then yeah, let me know, that'd be great! I'm going over on the 20th August so will probably be seeing you around then!

I'll write to them on Wednesday and let you know what I find out!!!
I haven't registered for any class yet and the e-mail the Spanish Committee sent me basically said: Congratz!!!Please confirm you want this scholarship!!!
This is all I've done so far but I was starting to get a bit nervous because nobody has sent me any info since. I will write to them to confirm I have to do the introductory courses...
You've been really helpful!!!Thanks again!!!

Congrats, dear!
How did it take them to respond? I hear the duration is usually about 2 weeks. I had my interview a week ago, I'm already impatient.
Were you interviewed over the phone or through a selection committee? And how was your interview. I'm only asking cos I'm worried my performance wasn't too impressive.

Hey Hey, thanks for the congratulations.
It took them 10 days - 2 weeks but it could take them more. Which committee have you applied from?
I was interview over the phone but through the UK Selection Committee. I couldn't be in London at that time.
As to my performance during the interview, it last 12 minutes instead of 20. I screwed up the questions on Treaty of Lisbon and wasn't expecting any questions relating to postgraduate studies etc. I was surprised when I got the offer of admission.
Don't worry I hope it went fine. When it comes to interviews we're always unsure!
