And my application is, as of this morning, SENT! wohoooo!!
L2: I'm French too :) Hope you enjoyed the ridiculous extra requirements by the French committee... quick question btw - they said you had to have 3 copies of every document, I assume that doesn't apply to recommendation letters, being sealed and all that?

To Antigone: If I understand well, it doesn't concern the recommendation letter but the document like your diploma...

Heyyyy how are you all guys??? well, I'm sorry for the late answer, you know..holidays and some staff to do!!!well, I can see that some of you have already sended the application form to the college, I will have to send the application for the selection commite in my country and then my appllication will be ready too.
OMG you can not imagine how important is that for me..Oh yes, I guess you can.. ;D
But you guys know someone who already is in it and how hard was to get it???my marks, they are not very good, but I think (and I wish) they dont mind just about it, I think they take into consideration everything; languages, experiences abroad, recomendations letters...
well, here it goes, my post!!!hope read some of you soon!!!the best of the luck for you all!!!!!!!!

Oh, it's important for me too, worry not ;)
But I think at this stage, application being sent and all, one might as well wait peacefully for the interview results to be posted.
Selection varies greatly from one country to another...
Eg I was talking to a Finnish friend today, she said only 8 people applied last year and they took 7 on lol...
fingers crossed people!

Hi Efetra.
I'm French.
My friend is Finnish.... so you could guess she is from Finland, lol!
I mentioned that to illustrate how things seem to vary vastly from one country to another. Obviously Chyprus has fewer applicants than Germany.
Delays vary again, I know in France they post the list on the website and get in touch with those invited for interviews in March / April...

I was wondering if any of you had infrmation about the selection process calendar. Interviews are in March/April it seems, but when is the final decision given?
Thanks!

Hey MZ!
Don't forget me, I'm French toooooo *desperate scream*
Studying law though but put down administration & politics as my second choice.
I'd say the final decision should be given soon after the interview, at least I hope! max one month!
Are you studying sciences po?
bye!

Not at all!
In fact that's quite the purpose of LLM's really, although it looks like more and more people use them as M2 (me included, though I'm not saying it's a good thing). What are you doing atm?
I wish more lawyers would join this thread, I feel a little bit alone here : ) (except for you efetra of course)
I hope we'll get to know soon too, meaning I wouldn't have to apply to anything else - it would be a relief alright! (and I can tell you I would throw a MASSIVE party if I were in). Also I guess other applicants will have to answer to other colleges as well, it's not an issue for me but I can imagine it would be for others.

Hello everyone and Welcome to MZ !!
For the french committee, are you sure that they send mail for the lucky one ? I mean, there is a list published in March, it could be enough.
And for the age, this thread seems to represent the reality because at the College of Europe the average age is 25 !

I don't think they mail anything but they might email alright. I mean, considering the effort everyone put in, it's only fair!
