Hi candy 82,
my interview is at 12. But you are not alone with poor French... :-) But I don't think it's a decisive factor. As you've probably read on the homepage, they offer laguage courses before the beginning of the lectures for people with poor language knowledges. What course have you applied for?
I've applied for IDS at Natolin.
Do not panic please, I am sure it will be OK!
good luck for you!

Hello Anja!
Good luck with your interview. Perhaps you can post here after it ends? Or PM me with how it went. I would greatly appreciate that.
I applied for European Economic Integration and Business. I realize it has nothing to do with this forum, but it's the only one I found that actually talks about the COE. So I figured I'd sign in and see how the interviews go. I hope this is not a violation of any rules of something.
Thanks for the advice. I'll try not to panic. I'm just worried about wording my motivation, for example, in French. I don't think my poor French would do it justice, you know. Do you think it will be alright if I were to say upfront that I'd prefer speaking in English? Perhaps even say that sentence in French? Just to show that I can actually speak French.

Hi :-)
I don't think you've violated some rules of this forum. I am not a law student either, but it was the only one I found. I wonder why there is no other forums or a group on the Facebook for the applicants.
I can't give you any advice as to the languages. I am not very strong in both...but I do not think about it now. You never know for sure what they will be asking you about or whether they will suggest you to chose the language for the interview. If I were you, I wouldn't say anything at the beginning, I would first see what they ask and if you have difficulties to answer, just say that you would prefer to answer this question in English. The interview will last 15 min or even less, so you will not have to speak French for hours. You can also say that your French is not very good, but you are working on it or you will take a course before the beginning of semester.
good luck!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who think it's odd there's no facebook or forum for COE applicants. It would've made things so much easier. Everything is so discreet about this college. Hopefully it's worth it. Why did you apply for it, btw? And how did you hear about it? If you don't mind me asking.
That is an excellent advice. Thank you so much. I was gonna act like a total loser and ruin the whole thing from the beginning. You saved me!
And btw, your English is terrific. I wouldn't say you're not strong at it at all. You should give yourself more credit than that. Where are you from, btw?
Btw, you neglected to answer my question about you not minding to post your post interview impressions.

Hi,
I am from Ukraine, but studying and leaving in Germany at the moment.
I don't mind to share my experience, but I won't be able to do it directly after the interview if you mean that as I will not have internet accesss.

Hi, candy.
I also applied for European Economic Integration and Business. I will have my interview on Friday at 2 p.m. I would be grateful if you will post your interview experience (the questions they put) upon you'll have it as we both are candidates for the same programme.
Also, if there's anybody who has his interview these days, would you be so kind to share your experience.
Thx in advance.
GOOD LUCK everybody.

Hi,
To those who were admitted; did you have to accept the offer within a certain period of time? I got waitlisted so I wanted to know whether there is still a small chance.
Thank you, and good luck!
Kim

Well you could create one...someone must be the initiator ;-)

Hi, malivina!
Sure! I'm glad there's another one here who has applied for the Business program. It was really lonely being the only one. How are you preparing for it, btw?
Thanks! Good luck to you too, dear! :)

Those are easy questions. I hope you managed to answer them correctly. I'm a bit confused about the last one though. How did you answer it?

I think the answer is the commission since I think it is competance to initiate trade agreements... not sure though. there are no easy questions in my view, just good enough answers. and i hope for me and for all of those who helped me here that i had them. good luck!

hello hello!! Does anyone have news from Spain??? I´ve been waiting for the final answer almost a month and nothing has come yet :(

Hi guys!I'm Ilenia, from Italy, and I'm already in for the Politics and Administration track!Nice to meet you here guys, but I can't wait to see you all! :)
Anyway, here's my concern: I received an email from my Committee saying that I made it,but it also said that for any further information I will hear from Bruges.
I know it's only been 12 days since I got this email(and you'll probably think I'm an anxious psycho)but I would like to know,if there is any older student or a new one which has already heard back from them, what should I expect as a date of further communication.
I need to know because I'm applying for a regional scholarship to fund part of the fees, and I'll need to get in touch with the Director of Studies of my Faculty. And I really don't want to do that before I hear from them directly. You know, it just doesn't seem proper. However, I'll need them to fill in a form for this scholarship within the next2months....and I assume you heard about the italian bureaucratic reputation...I'd like to have some time to fix the mess they'll surely create! :)
So here's the thing guys: has anyone of you heard back form Bruges yet?
Thank You,and sorry for my silly and long post!

Hi!
I've also been admitted in legal studies. I'm French and I've received the results (from the French committee) two weeks ago. But I'm still waiting for the official letter from the CoE... Did you received it?

I don't think it will the same questions, considering everyone here is applying for Law courses. I think perhaps they will ask us about the Euro or the Single European Act? What do you think? How are you preparing for the interview? Are you reading from books, the web...?
