I was looking the other day, and it seemed like for NY you needed to do an LLM. You might want to check on the state bar website.

Yes the SPILS works for the N.Y. Bar and also for the Cali bar! I know this for fact because I have friends currently enrolled in the program and they all go for the NY bar! Check with the admissions office - they will confirm!

Hey guys! This thread is a bit old now, and I believe there have been some changes to the requirements for sitting the (NY) bar. Does anyone have current info regarding this question?
