@finnis: the maritime prog at NUS is definitely worth considering, although not as old as the llm's offered at Tulane and Southampton, it's set in the hub of the asia-pacific region. The lecturers look tops, with a few visiting lecturers that are quite well-known.. One of the best things about the course is that you get to study a wider variety of units, as there is no compulsory dissertation (although the writing components are within the individual units). The Singapore Arbitration Centre is definitely taking over from the others in London etc, for most of the Maritime arbitration cases, given the increase in shipowners' from the Asia-Pacific region..
Also, NUS is becoming more and more recognised - they are just starting a co-prog with Yale, apart from the various ones they already have.
Plus, it's a chance to live in Singapore for an year! I love the food and the shopping :) !
