Guys, I will definitely let you know but I cannot even track my YLS application since everything was handled by IIE. But I heard Fulbright candidates were always part of last few years´ LL.M class so we´ll see soon. Not that I would REALLY think I can get in.:)
Btw. who did contact you regarding previous acceptances/rejections? IIE LL.M officer or your home country contact?

Thanks LegalEagle, please let us know. In my case, YLS is my top choice :).
I applied to 4 schools and have been accepted only to Chicago for now. Chicago and IIE have a different relationship so they are allowed to contact directly the students, therefore, I was not contacted either by the IIE or local office. Nonetheless, the IIE told me that the local office will notify me in future cases.
Best of luck,
H.

My local Fulbright officer just called: I am IN and I will be offered admission. I can´t believe it. Huge shocker. Huge.
Good luck to all still waiting.

If I am not a Fulbrighter and have not received any news from Yale as of now, should I considered myself not admitted thereto?
Posted Feb 27, 2014 11:11
I honestly don´t know. I was told that my admission process will be indirect (through IIE) and therefore delayed few days.
However, based on my research on YLS admission, apart from one-in-a-day calls to all admitted candidates and rejection letters by post, there is allegedly third category: waitlisted applicants that might be offered admission later in the process as some admitted students declined Yale offer. But of course, I have no inside info and this is only based on experience of past applicants described on several forums including this one.

Welcome to the club, mate.) I found out about this blog few days AFTER I got in:) But I truly believe it might help someone not only with Yale potential admission, but also with admission to other top law schools. Especially tips "how not to write PS" and what not to do during admission process seem useful, but there are some tips regarding funding/deposit/scholarship deadlines :)

Hi. The third category does not actually exist, as far as I know.

kollaps: Thanks for your input, I guess waiting list mentioned on YLS admission blog applied solely for JD admissions. Mea culpa.

Hi guys,
I have a friend who was waitlisted for YLS few years ago. He was called and informed about this situation. I think that happened at the same day they called the admitted ones. So, for those who hasn't heard anything for YLS until now (like myself), it's time to seriously think about HLS.
Best wishes for all.

BTW. PM is working while composing new message to someone, only Reply button seems to be the weak link in my case.
