Hi all,

Can I check if Yale corresponds purely by email or does it correspond via snail mail as well? I got a confirmation email on my materials being received but my email is somewhat wonky and they informed me that they would send me another email if anything in my application is misssing / incomplete etc.

I'm quite scared that when that email comes, it bounces or isn't detected by my email server. Alternatively, the fear is that if I get accepted, and an email is sent to me for which I have to respond, I fail to respond because I never received the mail. I do realise it's quite a paranoid fear, but don't want to jeprodise my chances with any of these unlikelhoods, however unlikely their eventuality. Do they send acceptance letters / letters indicating your application is complete or incomplete via snail mail as well just to be sure?

I remember reading in posts last year that Yale calls all of the successful applicants on the telephone as well as sending an e-mail and snail mail. They only admit 20 or less. No Law School would ever set a date for acceptance before you were sent a hard copy of the materials. Considering that they only admit so few every year I would alos think they would make every effort to contact you if they thought you were'nt receiving the correspondence. Rejections are only sent by snail mail.
