Yale or NYU for ILS

HSL

Got through both NYU and Yale hitherto. Im interested in studying international law and international economic law during the course of my LLM. Now, although Yale's Yale, NYU has all the faculty in this field (Howse, Fox, Kingsbury, Stewart et al.) whereas Yale has only Prof. Reisman and a couple of others.

Admittedly, the International Economic Law scene at Yale is a little weak (and NYU is undoubtedly the strongest). But like I said the temptation of Yale is greater than NYU. Any suggestions?

I would say Yale!

On a side note when did Yale release admission decisions? Did you request for an expedited decision? Were you informed through email or a call?

Congrats!

Well the response here seems to be overwhelmingly in favour of Yale. But if you're serious about international economic law study, the choice isnt as easy, I think.

Anyway, got a call from Yale yesterday morning (5 March). They'd be sending out emails and snail mail from next week, I believe.

Thanks for your comments!

Checking last years' posts it appears that YLS takes a couple of days to call all candidates (considering that it actually calls all of them, which might not be the case).

Anyway, congras HSL! May I ask you where are you from?
