Good luck to everybody. :)

Yes, I received two emails. The first, provided the login details for the Online Status Check. The second, notified me that the application was now complete, and, that I will be notified of the Graduate Committee's decision on my application in March.

Thanks for the answer. Do you remember if you received them shortly after applying? I sent my application 1 day before the deadline, but I haven't gotten anything yet. Should I be worried?

I equally sent in my application on 29 November 2019. I received the emails on 4 December 2019.

You should not be worried. I am sure you will be contacted. Its been barely a week since the application deadline. More particularly, one might want to consider that Yale Law School (YLS) closed for thanksgiving holidays from 28 November and, only re-opened on 2 December 2019. While your concern could be valid, it is probably too soon to reach conclusions, and it would be too much expect to YLS to contact all applicants within this time period (2-5 December 2019). That said, you should expect to receive those emails soon.

Thanks again for the information. To anyone that has this question too, YLS just informed me that this delay is normal and that it takes a while to process the information. Good luck to all of you!

I think Yale usually calls successful applicants between February 26 - March 5. If so, we'll have to wait another 10 days for news.

Okay! I’m wondering if some applicants received clues that they’ll be admitted? Perhaps a school asking to clarify information in an application, or checking out ones online profile, etc?

I dont know how they handle decisions. I believe last year they did call some applicants. But I dont know if they release decisions in groups or all at the same time. My application portal is the same since I applied i think. Nothing has changed

Which school checked your online profile? And where was this profile? Linkedin?

No, I’ve heard that some schools check online profiles like LinkedIn..
Perhaps In Invisible mode. I’ve read from threads that some schools do check such profiles, even Facebook. Anyway, if a school asks for additional information, wouldn’t that be a sign than they’re interested?

Also, are decisions based on faculty review, like the JD program, or made after review by those in the graduate program office? I believe files are sent to faculty as well, but I’m not sure. I remember for Dean Ashanti the JD program in one of her blogs mentioning that she was now going to read LLM files after completing JD files.
