I am from Brazil, originally from Santos/SP, but I have been living in São Paulo/SP for the past 9 years...

I was accepted to Northwestern (LLM/Kellogg) last Friday and to UChicago today! After weeks of anxiety, I finally had a relief.

Hi you all! I can see some law firm mates here... hehehehe... I am from Belo Horizonte (UFMG). So far I was deferred at Upenn and accepted in Chicago, Columbia, Northwestern (normal LLM program) and Ilinois. Hope to get a place in California (SLS or Berkeley) or HLS...

Hi everyone! I'm also waiting for responses. I applied for the LL.M Programs but for Law schools in New York only. Do any of you that got accepted received scholarships from the school? And do any of you have scholarships that you got somewhere else but the schools? I'm still looking for scholarships, so if you could share your experience, that would be great! Thanks!

No news from any scholarships granted by the Universities (at least for me). You can apply for sponsorships granted to Brazilian applicants by Fundação Estudar and Instituto Ling. I heard Rotary Club also has a sponsorship program, but I haven't got too much information on that...

Unfortunately Rotary International has already finished its process for the 2010 class...

I don't think LLMs are eligible for Fullbright Scholarships... Anyway, Fundação Estudar and Ling are good options.
