Where are the Brazilians?

January 22, I applied on November 28. It was pretty fast, actually, I thought it would take some time before I got an answer...
I have to wait until March 15 to know about Wharton, though...It seems that they don't consider "estágios" work experience, even if full time.

Do you mind sharing your credentials? I'm beginning to think I made some (bad) mistakes in my applications...

I don't mind, but I don't think I may be of any assistance...I got into Chicago's wait list, while two of my co-workers were accepted, and I was politely declined by CLS and LSE (one of my friends made LSE).

Anyway, I graduated at USP on Dec. 2007 and I got a TOEFL iBT of 115. No FGV or anything like that, I think that most of my acceptances were probably due to internships, academic experience or that kind of reference.

Congratulations for getting into UPenn. I was thrown to the regular adm. cycle, in spite of having FGV + USP + many other interesting prof. and academic exp. Quite ironic, since UPenn is my 7th (and last) choice. It is undoubetly a great school, but, personally, I have applied only on account of UPenn's Early Notification rsrs...

However, UMich admitted me on Jan. 06, so I am sure that I am heading to the U.S. next semester!!! (still waiting for HLS, SLS, YLS, Berkeley and NYU to choose my destination).

Saudações franciscanas!

Happy Carnaval to everyone! Rio's Downtown "will become too small for the Black Ball's String today"! lol For those staying in Rio, I would recomend the "Lazy Dick" in Ipanema or "The Olive with no Core", booth after work!

Any "lucky bastard" going to work on Wednesday of Ashes?

For those going to Salvador, remember:

Safe sex or not sex at all!

For those admitted in Chicago: have you all got an email from Dean Badger on sessions for admitted students in Brazil in March? Does anybody have a clue on what happens on those sessions?

Thank you so Much LLMPray, Grugani, Oxala and everyone that gave me tips about scholarships. Did any of you apply to Fundacao estudar and Instituto Ling? I saw that the Instituto Ling requires the GMAT test.. don't know if I can still take that.
Thanks again guys!

Roberta,
I guess Instituto Ling does not require GMAT for LLMs, but only for MBA's. You should try it!
Best of luck,
Gustavo
