Personally I think Cornell has the better reputation as it is "ivy league". That is always a good branding. UCL, of course is a good school, too. But I have heard that the study conditions in the London progams are not that good due to their huge student body. Studying at Cornell will be more a "personal" pick.
But in the end you must take into account that an employer in UK will possibly favour UCL just because it is a UK school. So you should make the decision depending on where you want to work afterwards. Morover, studying in UK will be cheaper...

Good luck with your final choice

Thanx Daniel, but what do u think if i will looking for a job not in UK, but somewhere else? Do the int. law companies understand that Cornell is ivy-league? It seems to me that they will prefer London univ. than Cornell for example, And i have heard that life in London is much more expensive than in NY, What do u think?
Thanx for your reply.

Hi Kem!

Well, I guess I can only speak for Germany because that's my home country. In Germany most intern. companies are looking for bright law graduates with excellent command of the english knowledge. Therefore, there put more weight on your grades in the german state examinations as on your grades in your LLM transcript. They even don't care "too much" about the university at which you earned the LLM degree. But in general they prefer top US law schools because in UK only Oxbridge has the same reputation. I think Cornell is well - known, especially in international firms like Citygroup, SAP, Deutsche BAnk etc
If I were you and money is not the big issue, I would prefer to go to Cornell although London is the more interesting city. Of course, living expenses are really outragous in London. But that cannot be compared with the tuition fees at US schools. US schools cost about 35000 $ only tuition. In London you will pay around 4000 pounds. So I think US schools are still more expensive than UCL although London is one of the most expensive cities worldwide at the moment. I will do a placement at a London law firms from decemeber 2006 for almost 4 months. And I exspect a rent for a small room of about 250-300 quid in a good area.

Good luck again
