Depends on how many ppl are on this list and how many people refuse Upenn's offer

I've been placed on the waitlist as well.. does anybody know if there's a ranking for Upenn's waitlist?

Wait list too. I am trying to look at the bright side of it though : just the fact that I wasn't rejected right away means there is still hope, right? Although, if no one has been rejected, that puts things into a different perspective. Has anyone been rejected? Is there a chance that they have put on the wait list all the rejected ones just to sugar the pill?

I don't think so.. if you are not good enough, you'll just get a rejection letter.that's about it.. let's just hope that many ppl reject Upenn which is not very likely as we all know..

Admitted maybe 3 weeks ago. Does anybody have a clue about any finaid UPenn may give?? I havó funds for this llm shot but I think it is better to retain them if it is possible))

I was also admitted to CLS, Cornell and waiting for NYU...

I completed my application on the 21st of Jan 2010. I am still awaiting a response from UPENN.... the wait is so nerve-racking. I wonder if the delay is more indicative of a rejection, beiing wait-listed or being an acceptance. Fingers crossed. Has anyone received rejections over past few days?? Are they keeping rejections for the last-minute?

Just got my acceptance...everything is a game of chess!!!!..I already have an LLM from the University of London and 3 yrs worth of experience including 2 months at an International Organization..and I got rejected by Columbia..but all's well...am happy...best 'o' luck to every1 here.

Guys, when I sent an email asking if there is anything I can do to improve my chances of being accepted from the WL, here's the mail I got:

"Dear Mr. ......., you are welcome to but need not submit any additional material.

Best wishes."

Do you think I should avoid submitting any material? I'm suspecting that I'm in the WL because of my low TOEFL score (92) .. I already submitted a "Why Upenn" statement with my application.. is it worth taking another TOEFL? I think they know that my english is good enough (about 4 years work experience in NY law office and UN).. just had a bad day on the exam day :) and anyway they would have asked me to retake the test if that was the problem, right?
