UPenn's decision

I also got rejected form UPenn, but I do not care. I am already admitted to Duke and some other Top12 programs.
If they had admitted me, I'd not have excepted their offer. Maybe they felt so too.
Is it possible that the universities know from each other and communicate about admissions decisions?

I do think so, Penn Law asked us to indicate other school we would applied to

I'm in! From Brazil... very happy...

"Your application is, even in the context of that group, highly impressive."

Same email everyone?

YEAH, but after all, we got admitted, what else? ;)

Penn Law has come to China. Got the admission notice email last night (Beijing time; Feb. 25 morning US eastern time)

one of the friends asked several times what's UPenn's criteria for admission. I think, from my own background, UPenn values work experience most.

Any thread before to discuss what the chances are like to get a position to be admitted by Penn among the WL group?

I received the admission email from UPenn yesterday. I was also admitted to U of Chicago and Northwestern. As my wife will pursue the LL.M. degree with me in the US, we will decide together which law school to attend. We prefer to study in different law schools that locate in the same city.

I would like to share the feelings about being admitted to the law schools. The first admission is definitely the most exciting to me. I still remembered the day I received admission email from Chicago; I was so thrilled at the admission that I read this admission email for several times. The second admission came from Northwestern, which still made me feel happy for being admitted by another law school. Then I received the Penn admission yesterday when I was preoccupied by an urgent settlement negotiation. I spent only one minute or two to skip the email to figure out the deadline for acceptance of the admission from UPenn, and then delved myself back into the work at hand.

I have to admit that being admitted to a top law school is of course recognition for ones past academic and word experiences. But just as my wife has told me, at the end of the day, no matter how many admissions to the top law schools you have collected, you can choose only one law school that you think best suits your interests and future developments. As for my wife and me, we just need admissions from the law schools locating in the same city.

I really do not know, but I guess they will start answering to waitlisted people when those who have been admitted start rejecting offers and leave their places. Judging from the deadline (1 April), it might take a while.

I got accepted two minutes ago, got rejected from Chicago and still waiting to hear from some schools (Berkeley, Northw., NYU, GTown, Umich, Cornell and NUS). Don't know if I should accept, Berkeley is my 1st choice together with Cornell, but I dunno if they want me. Upenn was very fast, my app was just completed ten days ago..
