Hi there,
Does anyone know anyone/have any info on how likely the chances of being admitted off the waitlist are? I'm not from America, and have no idea how these things work.
Thanks! :)

I have a deadline for April 1, and so does everyone else that received an offer out of the early notification pool. I think people from the regular cycle have a deadline some days later. I guess the committee has created a list out of the waitlisted, as they did for the scholarship decisions, so I think admission decisions will be sent out very quickly after the deadlines.
My impression, based on the activity in this forum, is that you have a very good chance of getting in when your are waitlisted. If you are determined to do some more research, I suggest you look at the threads from last year. This might give you a clearer impression of what chances you have as waitlisted!

Ah ok, this sounds promising. I've had a look at the last few years and it seems to be pretty random. Does anybody know how many people are likely to be on the waiting list?
Thanks!!!

I just checked my status of application, and I found there is no status in mine. In the status box, I just have term, year, program time and degree. Has it been this way since the waitlist notification? Or, hopefully, it means there could be a good news for me?
