I received the notice 1 hour ago and need to answer before Sunday, which is a pretty close deadline.

Though decision, both are well known for corporate. Berkeley has a specific program for corporate lawyers that can't afford to study abroad for 1 year, plus... Location location location, san fran is like new york now with all the start ups, but upenn + wharton is a great combination.
But I can' t tell you what to do, just follow your heart and whatt you think is best for your career. Don't follow reputatiion or ranking at the end success is up to you

If i were you I'd go to GT, mostly because of its location, World Bank and IMF are key player in internation business.
@wmendezjr: I am inclined to do so since I have already payed GT deposits. I also have the I-20 in my hands. Additionally, I know some people in DC that might be able to help me. Networking is probably one of the most important factors to me. However, many people say that the Ivy league staus plus UPenn reputation is bigger/better.
@Gothan: Congratulations!!!
Like I told Gothan, just follow your heart, do what's best for you and your career. Forget the status or reputation, at the end success is up to you and how you use your network.

I echo wmendezjr.
In my humble opinion, surrendering an excessive portion of your future success to external factors (e.g. Ivy League tag, ranking and lay prestige etc.) is not only blindly naïve and risky, but also an indicator that you are weak inside.
For most, if not all, of us, I do not think any top-notch law school would have an issue like "not competent in putting together the factors and resources to facilitate our future success", it's purely a matter as to how much efforts you would be willing to exert to take advantage of this one year.
You can not go wrong with either, the determining factors is YOU and the choice you made (after considering which school can bring to you what critical strengths and advantages).

Hi Guys,
Does any Brazilian received the offer of admission from Penn these last few days? Anyone willing to deny it? I am waitlisted and don't know if I keep waiting or move on with the ones I have been admitted.
Thank you all! Best.

I haven't heard anything yet and they said they we're filling the positions this week, so maybe there were not so many openings. I've heard UPenn is kind of harsh in its admission process but even Mr. Parker answered that they will be in touch as soon as they can, so maybe tomorrow they are releasing their final decisions.

Do they make a rank for the students in waiting list?

I received the notice 1 hour ago and need to answer before Sunday, which is a pretty close deadline.Sunday...Meaning they work overtime on weekend during this busy season.^^

Don't you think that they already filled all the class at the beginning of the week (ie Gotham was accepted) and that we will only receive rejection?
As they gave a deadline to the waitlisted candidates to accept their admission on Sunday I don't think we will have more info today..

It's seems logical to me but I didn't call Upenn.
