Verona, thank you very much
I've just seen my status, and was worried because of the letters of recommendation "not received" : I was on the exact same situation than you ! ;)

I sent my recommendation letters on January 28th and today my application appears complete.
Does anyone knows when does Penn Law commonly starts to communicate admissions ?

It now officially is the first week of March, let's keep our fingers crossed!

In the email for deferral, Penn had stated that decisions would be given before 1st March. Its one week past that and it seems they have not released any decisions this week. This forum also seems so quiet all of a sudden. :-(

maybe next week :)

I didn't hear anything. The waiting is excruciating.

I just wish they got over with all the decisions so that we can hear about financial aid (talking about slim chances!) When I emailed them about financial aid they said most funds are distributed in early March. It's surprising that they answered so much prior to their own suggested date (Feb 8th) for the early review and are taking so long now! I wish everyone the best of luck, Penn is in my top Schools so I might be seeing some of you this summer in Philly :) Let's hope the wait is over soon!

Received the acceptance letter! Exciting news...Now comes the decision between Vandy with 18k or UPenn...
Posted Mar 08, 2011 21:45
I also got admitted :)

I hear you, Andy. Similar problem here (BU and Penn - and others). I bet most of us are in the same situation. It's tough to decided whether to spend more than twice as much on Penn...

I got in, nothing about the financial aspects though.
I was going through some old threads, this one seems to suggest that Penn's financial decisions are separate.

Yup Spike what shall we do ? Is there a chance we can increase our current schollies for this acceptance ? Also, if this is the last yr of the Wharton Certificate it would be an advantage...
Congrats to Borderline, seems like we applied to the same Universities.
