I haven't heard anything either. I also thought we would all know by now and I don't know what to expect.
The waitlist email said "onto June" so I guess we might have to wait until the very end of the month.

Try not to go nuts until then !!

You know, if we have to wait till the end of the month, that's only next week! I hate to sound like a broken record, but we should find out next week (that is seriously the 10th time I have said those words in this process), even though that it so much less than ideal for most of us.

I can't help but maintain hope. There are many who were rejected that would love to be in our shoes, knowing that we still have a 1 in 5 shot at going to such a special school. It's frustrating, to be sure. I actually applied the very first week the application process was open in mid October. Man, I have been waiting for so long.

Positivity is the only thing we all have. This sort of maddening wait will make the acceptance email we all get so much sweeter, and our resolve to succeed at UCLA all the greater because we were able to dwell for months and months on how much it would mean to us just to have the chance.

yea, I agree, the longer the time we dont hear from them, the greater the chance of being accepted, considering that rejections are constantly flowing. So, a positive thought for the day, the probability of getting in increases as time passes from now till the 30th.

i got rejected quite a while ago and i was flicking through the us schools and i can't believe people are still waiting! i have to say texn you seem to have a real positive attitude and we need more people like you in this world! you seem to have a respect for eveyone that applied which is rare to see in the selfish world we live in today.. i really hope you get the spot...good luck mate :)

Incredibly kind of you to say Winter. I remember when you didn't get in, and I try and remember how grateful I was just to get on the wait list. Even though it sucks to wait, it is still a special thing.

Haha, I can relate to that ! Although being in France, UCLA emails always arrive betwen 1.30 and 2 AM so I'm not too stressed before that.

LLM guide notification emails always give me hope that at least someone recieved some news though ;)

It would be incredible if some of us did not hear word by next week because that would put us into July. I'm still holding out hope for tomorrow being a big day, but I guess I should know better.

I dont think it will go into july, I quote an email from Vic

"Your likelihood of gaining admission is difficult to predict at this time, as it will depend upon the number of admitted students who accept our offer of admission. We will likely begin accepting applicants from the waiting list in May, and notifications will continue through June."

Seriously though, don't you feel for Vic? Here he has a hundred kids foaming at the mouth like a pack of rabid bats demanding answers when he doesn't even have the role within the organization to make the selections. He's waiting on the committee too so we can stop bugging him and he can get on with his life. He's probably surprised as well that they haven't been sending out as many offers/rejections as he anticipated.

All that said, I don't think it will go into july either, except for a few unlucky domestic folks ( I half expect to be in that category). We should all find out within a week. AND IT WILL BE GOOOOOOOD NEWS!!
