UChicago with 30K$ tuition waiver or CLS/NYU ..???
I really don't know what to do... My worry about Uchicago is that it's far from NYC and would therefore decrease my chances of finding a job (because most jobs are in NYC). However, the tuition waiver is extremely helpful. Also, I don't know what I think about small classes...
What do you guys think???

Really congrats! If I were you, I believe I would go to chicago..it is an amazing school and 30K helps a lot too! then, you can make a few trips to NYC!

Certainly Chicago imo. I would even put it on par with Columbia, certainly because of its small LL.M. group of 50 persons. With halve tuition I would have no doubts :)

May I ask you when did you know about the scholarship? Dean Badger said that we should get our admissions letters by March 15 (I havent received anything) and then we could apply for scholarships?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The admission emails were sent in the beginning of Feb and he gave us three weeks to ask for financial assistance.

May I ask you when did you get the answer on financial assistance from Dean Badger?

You are completely right. But have you accepted already their offer? Congrats in any case!

Congratulations! That's a wonderful achievement. I would pick Chicago (when compared to CLS and NYU) even without a scholarship... so, with 30,000 scholarship, I don't even have to say... I hope I have similar luck to yours. Still waiting for an answer from Dean Badger on financial assistance...
