Hi guys! I am a foreign trained lawyer and I am admitted to UC Hastings LL.M. program with a very good scholarship. I have applied and received admission from better ranked schools such as USC, however I received very little or no scholarship from those schools. I know that UC Hastings is a very good law school, especially in SF, but it is a cut below Berkeley or Stanford. So job prospects are lower compared to Berkeley or Stanford.

My question is: Is it worth going? Or should I try again next year to receive admission and scholarship in a better ranked school? Any ideas/comments will be appreciated.

that's a though one.

Higher ranked schools will be more competitive and probably won't surpass the 20-25K scholarship.

it's a risk but if you have a good feeling about UC Hastings and you will be saving money, I would bag the cash and go!
