Hi guys, 

Is it just me, or the online status checker is not working? I’ve been checking my application status regularly, but for some reason I could not login today (website does not recognize my username and password).

Mine works.  But my checklist never went blank.

It's working for me as we speak.


That is so weird....I’ve checked other schools and the webpages are working fine, UChicago is the only one with the issue.

It is working for me. But my status hasn't changed.

Since Feb. 15 is a holiday in the US, I wonder whether UChicago will send an initial decision by that date.


Feb 16 is a holiday in the US too! We may hear back by 17 Feb then I guess..

UChicago states that initial decisions will be sent by Feb. 15, I wonder admission officers will work even on a holiday...

I sent them an e-mail on Friday and theu replied that the e-mail will be sent on February 15 (today).

We should probably receive something today. Good luck to all!

Thanks ☺️ Yes it was empty, although it might have been ever since my application was marked as completed in December (I hadn’t really paid much attention to it...)
