I received an email from NYU last week notifying me that they want to see my transcripts for this Fall. Stats: Law School Rank in 50's, Class Rank Top 5%, LR, numerous book awards in tax classes. Anyone else get this email, an acceptance, or a rejection?

I received the email as well. Same from UF. UF said they "didn't get to my application in time, so it would be best to have updated information"

Hey TaxLaw123--Congrats on the acceptances from GULC and UF.

Are you waiting to hear from NYU? Is NYU your first choice?

I heard from nyu back in December asking for more info but my wife and I decided that we would like DC better and I withdrew my app so were headed to gtown for sure

Both FL and NYU asked for more information. I sent it to FL because it was simply an unofficial transcript containing fall grades. I haven't responded to NYU yet because they wanted official transcripts through LSAC.

I'm contemplating withdrawing from NYU. I've had my heart set on Georgetown since the beginning. Right now id say I'm 90% Georgetown and 10% Florida.

Still waiting to hear from FL though...

Thanks for the detailed response. Just wondering what the priorities are for people who are accepted to all three. Obviously it's different for everyone.

All three programs are great. You'll really love DC; or Florida if that 10% probability grows--warm weather will do that :)

Have fun deciding.
