This autumn, I will attend LLM course at George Washington University Law School.
Now I am recommended by GWU person to take a summer seminar for international lawyers provided by Institute for US Law (http://www.iuslaw.org/) before starting LLM course. However, I have not heard of this institute. Is there anybody to have an idea of this institute or this summer seminar?

I heard the IUSLAW program is very good, also for making contacts for possible future jobs.

Hi, everyone, I am a 2005 GWU LL.M. graduate and I am also a former participant of 2004 US Law Institute Summer School, so I can give you information about both programs. I can tell you from the very beginning that both of them were the best academic experience I have ever had.
It's worth being part of the great team of the Institute for US LAW, the program is one month orientation in the American law system, and beside classes we had fun networking with legal professionals, visiting a lot of great places, enjoying an unique experience. The summer program helped me in preparing for the LL.M. as well, because it gave me a deeper understanding what the entire common law system is about. It was great, it was a lifetime experience for me. I can always recommend GWU and US Law Institute to everyone. If you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact me: nicolemihalache@yahoo.com
