Stanford LLM + SPILS 2019 - 2020 Applicants

I think April 18th is the deadline for accepted students to accept or reject. So probably in the week starting April 22, 2019.

Dibbz, are you an ELP candidate?

So strange I still haven't heard, guess that means a rejection. Is it worth me emailing Stanford with details of my scholarships (some full ride) and my offers and ask for a decision?

Hi I am in the same band wagon on fullride scholarship. I guess you notify Stanford by writing an email to admissions amd request for your application to be fast tracked. Thats what I did.

I am a Fulbright applicant myself. I emailed them asking when I should expect a further response and they were like "probably another week or so. We’ll be back in touch soon, but please don’t hesitate to email if your other deadlines require a more immediate response from us."

Sadly the application process and acceptance of offers isn't in my control.

Hi Humyaz. I am equally a Fulbright scholar but I really doubt theyd work with Stanford. But am sure by now they have already placed you at some University.

All will be well. Provided you are a finalist they will always find a university for you.

My worry with Stanford is the disadvantage they put candidates who are expecting funding from some source by them delaying to give a response. Further, I start to get the feeling that despite requesting for their expedited response on my application, they have little care on the deadlines I gave them.

I don't think so. They (Stanford) just want students pay them, and not that students are paid by them...

Tbh, I think pretty much all of the offers and waitlists have been sent out.

Alright... Stanford replied to me with a rejection. Better luck to those on the waitlist.
