So I just got the interview call this minute, out of the blue.
Lasted about 12 minutes, he asked “why Stanford” and some questions about my research proposal. I was so nervous I’m afraid the research explanation was not as clear as I would have liked.
I am Brazilian and applied to the spils program.
The call appeared as a local call (which Inalmost didn’t answer because my screaning app identifies it as a advertisement number)

Hi everyone ! Just got the call for the SPILS program. Few questions on my research project. I wasn't really clear as I was completely suprised but we will see... Best of luck to everyone ! I'm from Belgium.

So, I thought Stanford released results all at once, but that does not seam to be the case, right? Does anyone know how this was in previous years? Do they release results from the program all at once?

Also, still no news on Spils?

A question for those of you who have received a call or email. Has your status changed in any way? (for example, blank checklist?) If so, when did this happen? Thx and goodluck

Is it possible that somebody received the call but end up with waitlisted or rejected? Did this happen in history?

Or the call is a guarantee of admission?

Also, does anyone have any idea when they will give decision to waitlisted applicants? From what I saw in previous-year thread I think admitted applicants need to accept/reject their offers by the end of April, but not sure if that also means that waitlisted applicants will receive decision around that time.

That’s great. Did you get a call prior to the wait list? Which region are you from? I think time to give up hope if you’re from Asia. I’m still holding onto the hope that they haven’t called Asian applicants.
