Has anyone received a decision from SLS and/or the much talked about phone interview???

I called SLS today and they told me they hope to make a decision by the "end of April".... which I thought was strange, given the April 1st deadline in all their emails..

May be they are tired of applicants enquiring about their applicantion status and gave me this answer...

Nope. According to its e-mail, most of decisions will be made by April 1, 2009, which I think means some decisions may be made and released by the end of April, given there may be far more excellent applicants for this year.

Have any one been interviewed???

Actually April 1st is the final deadline for announcng all the decisions.
As far I came to know that they will start relesing decisions after 15 March. It may also be possible that some of us may receive decisions at the end of this week.

My understanding is that Spring Break is from the 23rd to the 30th

It's just my educated guess. However, they may not take any vacations for Spring Break.
Also, I find it difficult that they send out all decisions by the end of next week as it seems they have not interviewed anyone yet...
