Man, I am almost having a heart attack here. This process is a torture. Let's not lose hope.

I guess I havent seen any French mentioning a call here on this post.

me too.... I saw that you were admitted at Chicago and Columbia. You are fine man! I assume SLS is your first option right?

Yes, Stanford is certainly my first option. But I'd be definitely happy at Chicago or Columbia as well. Not knowing what is about to happen is the problem. I really just wanted to know all my options, so I can make a decision... Stanford would pretty much eliminate the decision part - I would pick it right away!

Btw, I'm a girl, but no offense taken! lol

I am in a similar situation. I have been wait-listed for SPILS, but already admitted to Chicago (15,000 scholarship) and NYU (25,000 scholarship). I hope a place opens soon.

ooops! sorry for that!!
I also have offers from Chicago and Columbia. But I think I might accept Berkeley in case Stanford rejects me. I prefer to live in CA during this LLM year rather than freeze in Chicago or live in NY.

Congrats! You have a tough decision to make.
In my case, I can't consider any scholarship. Apparently I am a really lousy candidate for a scholarship and both my requests were denied by Columbia and Chicago...

I asked Ms. Lucy LaPier which was the original deadline for accepting offer for those already admitted to SPILS and she told me it was April 15 (same day for accepting or rejecting Chicago's offer, although you can request a deadline extension). I think the same deadline should apply to your case, EKK. She also told me to contact her in a few weeks (meaning a couple or three weeks, I think) in order to receive an update, which I will certainly do. My recommendation would be to wait until the third week of April and then call them to know the results... but I just keep looking into the LLM Guide for new info!
