I just got called by prof. Daines of SLS. He asked me some questions on my interest in corporate governance. He announced that admission decisions should follow soon. Good luck to all!

Got a interview call yesterday - corporate group. Anyone knows how this is connected to the final decision?

Could you guys tell us in a bit more detail about the questions Stanford asks during an interview? I appreciate this is very much dependant on the program one applied to, but this would still be very helpful.
In general, are they pleasant during an interview (I recall from the last year thread that they are).

Only two questions related to CV and recommendation letters.

The call is very short, about 10 min. I was just walking in the office so really got in a rush, but I think the call should be fine, through no prepared at all.

Pleasant or not? Hard to tell. I can say that it seems to be a normal talk. They are not "challenging" me but "asking". Other than the two CV / referral quetions, I did not get a third.

I also got a call yesterday night (corporate governance). It was a very pleasant interview. Jared Ellias was really nice and asked questions about my application material. He said that we should wait a few more days for the final decisions.

Got the call from Mr. Ellias 5 hours ago (corporate governance). Very nice and friendly. He said that decisions will be out next week. Fingers crossed.

I think time difference is definitely taken into account. The time is 10 am local time for me.

From the discussion on this board, one Brazilian has. It seems that decisions will be informed this coming week. Hopefully calls are still on going. I am waiting as well. Cheers.
