Berkeley or Stanford for Intellectual property????

I think Stanford would be better in terms of general reputation. However, as to the field of IP law, Berkeley has higher ranking and IP lawyers all know the fact. Furthermore, living expense of Palo Alto is extremely high compared to that of Berkeley. I acknowledge both schools are cool, however, if I were you, I'll select Berkeley as an IP lawyer. Thank you.

Nope. Still waiting Stanford (which hope now is almost lost) and Columbia. I am flying to Chicago and NY this Sunday to check it out the schools and classes.

They answered me that my application is still in review and that they hope to have most of the final decisions rendered by the first week of April.

Thank you. I thought that once the calls started (which they did, as per information presented by other on this board) that they already had their final list of candidates which were approved. Let's hope that is not the case and that there are still some spots left.
